Understanding Bluetooth Wireless Communication
Bluetooth
Products For Your Car
There are many products that a person can
buy for their car. Since most people cannot afford a new car,
car kits were created to bring Bluetooth technology into the
existing vehicle. These car kits come with many products. Car
kits can be found and installed at automotive stores, auto
body shops, and audio shops. Bringing wireless technology
to the car can be expensive depending on what a person is looking
for. As with any new technology, the prices become more affordable
as time goes by. As newer technology is introduced, older technology
becomes less valuable and the price falls. Bluetooth technology
will be around for a long time, so getting and older model
car kits will not affect the overall quality of wireless technology
in the car.
Wireless
headsets are used to talk on the phone while driving.
They are little devices that fit around the outside of one’s
ear. People can talk and drive and not worry about fading in
and out when going into tunnels or under bridges. They can
keep their hands on the wheel and not worry about fumbling
for the phone or adjusting a headset that is connected to the
phone. Calling people is also easy. Many car kits come with
extras that feature voice activation calling. This enables
a person to say a person’s name, which has been programmed
into the phone. The Bluetooth will call the number. No more
worries about dialing and driving or waiting until one is at
a red light to make a phone call. Voice activation is an attractive
addition to any car kit package.
Another attractive feature is caller ID. This enables a person
to ignore a phone call while they are driving. New cars have
a screen built into the rear view mirror, which will display
a phone number when the phone rings. This is very handy for
those who are traveling long distances. They can voice a command
to answer or ignore the incoming call. Car kits cannot provide
this feature. But caller ID is still available on most cell
phones. This is still a great option for those who do not want
to answer the phone while driving. Car kits are becoming more
sophisticated as the years go by. Maybe someday, all cars will
be able to have caller ID in the read view mirror. In the meantime,
there are still plenty of options for those who want Bluetooth
technology in their car without having to purchase a new car.
Since many new cars come with a navigation
system, which is
run using Bluetooth technology, they also are able to support
phone usage. Navigation systems are very useful for those who
are driving alone and who do not want to pull over and look
at a map or directions. These navigation systems are not cheap,
but for those who travel often, it is a wise choice. Along
with navigational systems, are other options like audio control.
When the phone rings, the sound system will automatically go
to mute and resume when the phone call has ended. This is great
for those who do not want to take their eyes off the road.
The Bluetooth technology has made it so the car can sense what
is going on and act accordingly.
Microphones come with most car kits. These are great to place
on the visor or doorframe. Clear sound and easy projection
make these microphones a must have car accessory. Most car
kits come with them. The more expensive car kits have microphone
that can be installed into the doors of the car. It is a personal
preference as to which is best. The reception is clear either
way. Microphones can also be bought separately from car kits.
They can be placed anywhere in the car and be used at any time.
They can be found wherever car kits are sold and do not have
to be professionally installed.
Bluetooth technology has made driving a little safer for those
on the road. Although it is best to stay off cell phones while
driving, having wireless headsets, caller ID, and voice activation
can make the trip less stressful. Car kits can range in price
and depending on what one is looking for can be reasonably
inexpensive. Driving safely is everyone’s number one concern.
Bluetooth is making the steps closer to safety a little easier.
